In which winter haunts me, I try to be a less lame blogger content wise, and my foot is in a brace dealio

Well, now that you're up to date on the epic war between me and the Homework Troll, I'll give you some regular life updates. Such as the fact that winter came back, and I broke my foot.

What you say? I broke my foot?

Yes, it is true. During the wonderful Spring weather, that is now gone, I started going for runs. Well, on one such run, I was going down the street, and my foot just started hurting like heck. And it didn't stop. Okay, it was better when I was just messing around at home than when I was running, but you know what I mean. Anyway, after a few days, I finally got myself a doctor's appointment. And yeah, I gave my self a lovely stress fracture, and probably tendinitis, which is all sorts of fun. So I've got to wear an obnoxious sandal/boot thing for 4-5 weeks. Which really sucks. It's obnoxious I tell you. OBNOXIOUS!!!

And, the warm weather left again. I have an inch or so of snow out side. Botheration.

But! To make up for the fact that I went a little MIA (nothing I could about it, but still) and that my life currently involves either an obnoxious boot thing or the Homework Troll, I shall upload some pictures I managed to take of a crafty project I did before the siege.

I took an old journal I had. It was cute, but really not my style, so it had sat in my closet for a very long time. Finally I decided to get it out and bust out the fabric and glue.

Before

Tada!! I now keep it in my purse and use it for all my random writing inspiration needs. And also random phone numbers that I have no where else to write down :P

After: Opened up

After: Closed
Yeah... So that's it really. See ya later people!

A siege by a particularly nasty Troll, or a look into my sleep deprived brain, you decide

*pokes head over the side of a castle tower*
Hello down there! What am I doing in a tower you might ask?
*growl from near by woods*
Ahhh yes, that would be the Homework Troll. He's quite a nasty fellow. Growls and moans all day long. He's also why I'm up in a tower. You see, after my challenge/warning I gave last week, he decided he wouldn't be out done. So I'm stuck here, under siege, in an old castle. He even stole the shipment of grenades I was expecting. Now isn't that rude?
Oh bother, I am getting quite tired of shouting down to you. Come on in. What? Oh no, don't worry. The troll lets others come and go as they please. Heck, he even escorts some of them across the draw bridge. No, his quarrel is with me.
*draw bridge is lowered and door open enough for you to pass through*
*a servant escorts to a drawing room with a very large fire place*
Oh hello! I'm sorry about all this, but the troll will not let me come out under any circumstances. Not until his demands are met. And unfortunately, there are a lot of them. Oh bother, I seem to be getting ahead of myself. Here, sit down next to the fire, and I shall tell you the tale of my week....
When I last talked to you, things were going well. The small trenches and sand bags I put up against the Troll seemed to hold up, and the machine guns worked quite nicely. But no! My sister came home from collage right then. And while I was distracted with greeting her, and goofing off for a bit, the Troll sent his ninjas around the back of my camp, while the Troll made a frontal assault. Surrounded on all sides, I had no choice but to retreat to the distant castle. He surrounded the castle, and told me that I would have as much food as I wanted, as many visitors as would come, and I wouldn't even have to clean the castle. But under no circumstances would I be allowed to leave to my computer until I met his demands. And the list is long. And that's where you found me, over a week later.
Sure, the list is shorter than it was, and I even had my sister here all week to keep me company, but I was still separated from my computer, and all the blog things I do.
Now my sister has left, sadly. But! It is not all bad! Using her genius, as a final act of awesomeness, she snuck a computer to me here under siege! I won't tell you the details, for they are highly confidential, but needless to say, I have access to the interwebz again. The siege still goes, and I work on the list of demands, but hopefully I will now also have the time to blog.
Ah, you best be going now. It's getting late, and the Troll may let you back across the bridge, but the journey through the forest won't be so easy. Farewell! And I hope to see you soon.
*types furiously on an English paper*

Yeah.... so my week may not have been quite that exciting, but you get the idea :P
I'm back! And hopefully I won't be gone that long again!
Tomorrow's forecast, content!

PSA here **UPDATED**

Hey, so Blogger is being a pain in the neck today. it randomly changed my profile, so that I'm following all the blogs I follow with a different user name >_<
I promise I didn't stop following all of you! I'm trying to fix it, but it's being a pain. Please bear with me :(

**********EDIT**********

Yay! So I think I fixed the problem ^_^
And yes, it did involve me logging into my account over 63 times. Proof you guys are awesome o_0

Dealings with Trolls

I have some good news and I have some bad news. Good news first? Alrighty :D

It's finally spring here at the north pole the frozen waste land my house! I'm soooo happy ^_^
It's glorious! Seriously, I have a million ideas for craft projects, my short story is coming along nicely, and heck, I even went for a run, which isn't like me.
The sun is amazing.

*groan* and now the bad news.

You know that pesky spring break goblin? Well, turns out he's a very sore loser. To avenge his defeat, he sent his distantly related cousin over to do battle with me, the homework troll. What better irony than to get my creativity, and then not have time to use it? *Grumble*
It's driving me absolutely stark raving mad!
The homework troll is a much more experienced opponent than the spring break goblin. I fear some real strategy must be formed. Though I love LotR, and all things similar, I must put away my swords and bows. It's time to bust out the Uzis and grenades I fear. This is the major league *dangerous eyebrow twitch*
Gah, and now I want some army camo gear. See? See what this awful troll has done? Plenty of ideas, just no time to do them.

In other news that I promise is somehow related, it turns out that I'm a member of the blogisphere mob, and may or may not become the boss of the mafia of the newly conquered Slovakia. (just don't ask. I'm always getting into these odd, but amazing conversations.)

How is this related you may ask? This is a fair warning to the homework troll. I am not to be trifled with. I have friends in high places. I have strings to pull.
And perhaps more pertinent, I have a natural tendency to set things on fire, shoot guns, and make explosions. You have been warned.

Let the battle begin.

The spring break goblin stole my creativity *UPDATED*

Some of you may or may not have noticed my unplanned blog hiatus.

Yeah, sorry 'bout that *chagrined face*

I don't really have a good reason for this. Heck, I don't even have a reason. I really just didn't have the motivation to post. It was odd, cause I love blogging.
And not only did I not post, I didn't read other's posts for the most part. I kinda just shut myself off.
I guess I could come up with an excuse...

The totally made up story goes like this. Last Monday, I woke up with not very much time to get ready for school. But then I realized that I didn't have school, because it was spring break. I then proceeded to dance around my room like a dork. To celebrate this awesome day, I decided to change out of my mismatched pjs, and get some writing done. But alas! It was not to be. You see, a goblin came and stole my creativity! Isn't that the rudest thing? Just stole it, without a word of explanation.
I was very upset, and kind of sulked around for a while. Don't blame me though! It was very hard to come up with a counter strike to this obvious act of war against my awesomeness without my creativity.
After the sulking, and futilely trying to get some homework done like a responsible person, the solution hit me on the head (ouch.)
It was time to bring out the big guns. My creative savy, goblin fighting, butt kicking, and goblin butt kicking sister. On Wednesday, she was to come up to visit, and to probably help me fight creativity-stealing goblins.
But tragedy struck my plans. She was already engaged in battle with a demon art project for finals.
I was alone in my quest for creativity. A long and difficult battle later, the spring break goblin ran away, triumphantly clutching my creativity in its slimy little hands, a trail of failed craft projects and writing exercises in its wake. By Friday, I had to acknowledge defeat. I then spent the weekend doing some more moping about the loss of my creativity, and slugging through some homework.
But by Monday, I got all mad about it again. I decided to go back to the fight, only this time I would have a plan in mind. This time, I would catch the evil spring break goblin unaware.
In an epic mission, requiring the utmost stealth, I crept around to the back of his hideout. While he was taking his afternoon nap, I sprung like a cheetah, and stormed his living room (yes, even the rudest of goblins have living rooms.)
Using my awesome duct tape and magical ninja skills, I persuaded the goblin that my creativity is in fact mine.
The final battle was yesterday, and after all that I was just too tired to post :)

Well, that was a lot longer than I planned on.... But it was awesome, and fun, so too bad :D

A few items of business here.
One, the time zone on my blog is having issues, so don't pay attention to the time anything is posted at anymore. It's like Ukraine time o_O

oops.... I guess I only have one item :P

Have a great day all my awesome followers/readers!

Ahhh, it's good to be back :D

*****EDIT*****

So, I thought of the second item of business. I follow a bunch of blogs. And I was gone for a week plus. There were A LOT of posts to read.
They were awesome posts and everything, but I didn't really have time to comment on some of them.
I'm sorry guys! I think I'm getting back on top of stuff, so hopefully this won't happen again.

Yeah, recharge is good. But it took over my weekend :P

You ever have one of those weekends where you just don't want to do anything? Yeah...... oops.
I went to see a movie. (how to train you dragon. Awesome)
I typed out a blog post, but realized that the hyperness would probably scar most people for life.
I got a book from the book store. (ok, so that was cool :D)

Yes, I finally got my copy of The Hunger Games. I know I know, behind the times. But hey! I actually did it, so I guess that counts for something.

I'm really tired though, so I don't think I'll actually get around to saying anything today.  Just letting you know I didn't die, or get carried off by demon posts.

Re-charge!

I have a little bit of a confession to make.

I did absolutely nothing today. No funny stories from school, no projects, no parties, no over doses on cookies, heck no homework to rant about. Nothing.

And you know what? I don't regret it in the slightest. After school, I hung out with my bestie. Other than a writing a slightly insane post for her blog, we just sat and talked about the randomest things.

It was glorious. Because while normally I'm a very active/not lazy person, and love cramming in as many cool things as I can, I got a little burned out. One can only shove so much stuff in before it gets a little exhausting.

So today I recharged my batteries.

And for some reason, doing nothing seems like a guilty pleasure. So that is my thought of the day. When you feel exhausted and tired of life, take some down time. You could be surprised at how much it helps.

On to cool projects tomorrow!!! CHARGE!!!!
